He is a Full Professor at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, an M.Sc. in Information and Communication Sciences, an M.Sc. in Management, and bachelor’s degrees in Electronic Engineering, Computing Engineering, and Mathematics. His multidisciplinary training equips him to tackle complex problems at the intersection of engineering, computer science, and the mathematical sciences, contributing to teaching, research, and academic leadership with an applied, integrative perspective.
