He was born in Manzanillo - Cuba in 1985. He received my degree in mechanical engineering and M.Eng. from the Universidad de Holguín, Holguín - Cuba, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a leading specialist at Astilleros de Oriente - Manzanillo, Cuba. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a project manager at Ministerio de Industrias, Cuba - PDVSA Industrial, Caracas - Venezuela. In 2015, he worked as a senior engineer at Ministerio de Industrias - Cuba. From the end of 2015 to 2020, he worked as a researcher/professor at Universidad Técnica del Norte - Ecuador. Currently, he is working as a Senior Researcher at SDAS Research Group. His professional and research interests are discrete and computational optimization and artificial intelligence applications. Manufacturing engineering, computer-aided design, planning and manufacturing (CAD/CAPP/CAM) and application of numerical methods in engineering. As well as, time series forecasting, data analysis and applications of heuristic methods as solutions for engineering problems.
